ECCO STOVE – An outstanding range of slow heat release wood-burning stoves.

Ecco Stoves – manufactured in the UK, are designed to offer a unique heating system for the widest uses and environments. One of the qualities of the Ecco Stove is that its exterior wall not only radiates and convects heat, but also warms the air surrounding the heater, which is evenly distributed throughout the rest of the property (Providing doors to rooms needing heating are left open). The Ecco Stove is also extremely safe because the exterior of a masonry heater never becomes so hot that you can’t touch it.

If you are looking for a masonry heater or a highly efficient slow heat release wood burning stove, then the Ecco Stove is hard to beat. It is one of the most energy efficient wood stoves on the market and it creates a consistent heat not only for the room where it’s situated, but also for the whole house – wrapping your house in warmth.

With up to 88% efficiency and just 0.07% carbon production, the Ecco Stove is the ultimate alternative to a traditional wood-burning stove.

The Ecco Stove masonry style heater generates extremely high combustion temperatures within its burn chamber, which in turn results in industry leading clean burning efficiency and emissions levels. While achieving this, the Ecco Stove still manages to maintain a relatively cool and slow heat releasing outer body temperature, which is one of its main characteristics and unique advantages.

The stoves are available in most heat resistant paint colours or bare Silicon Carbide (which appears like sparkling granite) alloy or coloured trim. The sleek Ecco Stove is the perfect addition to any home. From the traditional to the ultra-modern this versatile stove will complement your existing decor perfectly whilst offering cost-effective, energy efficient low-carbon heating.

If you take a look at some of the statistics about the Ecco Stove, you will see why it is one of the most energy efficient wood stoves on the market:

For example, the model EC678 boasts some impressive statistics, namely:

88% efficiency rating

Only 0.07% carbon output

Radiates 25% of its stored heat up to 12 hours after the fire has gone out.

Innovation in Silicon Carbide

Silicon Carbide is made up of two minerals extracted from the ground: Silica and Carbon. When combined, these minerals form one of the hardest materials on earth, second only to diamond.

Silicon Carbide is able to absorb extreme temperatures and then release heat slowly.

It offers some of the best energy efficiencies and low levels of carbon available. To date Silicon Carbide has primarily been used in electrical conductors and furnaces thanks to its heat reflecting and conduction properties.

Why should I buy an Ecco Stove rather than a smaller, cheaper alternative?

The Ecco Stove will heat much more of the house than just a room so can usually get pay back for the cost of the stove alone within 4 years (subject to fuel supply costs).

It’s much bigger than ordinary stoves we’ve looked at. Will it be too hot in the room?

No, just the opposite, a correctly sized Ecco Stove won’t overheat the room. Yours is the choice to heat the room gently or open doors, fire the stove harder and heat much more of the house. Any adjacent rooms will be just 1° or so cooler than if sat 2.5m (8’) in front of the stove.

How much of the house will it heat?

Anything from a house with 7 up to 14 rooms dependent upon model (see Product Specification).
